Current Time.
When Victor and Donna dive into my blog post, "A Journey from the Ma’abara to Architecture," it feels like traveling back in time to the early days of Israel. I’m so grateful they continue reading my stories and sharing their insights with their audience.
It's always a challenge to capture people’s attention, but it's even more challenging to gain the recognition of top radio personalities like them. Listening to their discussions about topics I care about and hearing their reflections on my blog stories is an incredible experience. I’d love for hosts on The Late Show, The Early Show, or Good Morning America to join the conversation about The Liat Show: My Journey to Infinity as well.
To briefly summarize what they talked about for those reading this but not listening to the podcast, Victor and Donna reflect on my father’s journey from Morocco to Israel in the early 1960s. He and his family began in a Ma'abara (a tent camp that served as a temporary housing solution), endured many struggles, and eventually moved to a small public housing apartment. Against all odds, my father became the first in his family to earn a college degree in architecture from the Technion. His first job was working on Project Renewal, a government initiative aimed at rehabilitating public housing buildings in distressed neighborhoods built in the 1950s and 1960s.
Hearing my blog posts come to life through these discussions is truly special, and I can’t wait for more people to join the conversation.

In this journey, I weave together episodes from my life with the rich tapestry of Israeli culture through music, food, arts, entrepreneurship, and more. I write over the weekends and evenings and publish these episodes as they unfold, almost like a live performance.
Each episode is part of a set focused on a specific topic, though sometimes I release standalone episodes. A set is released over several days to make it easier for you to read during your busy workday. If one episode catches your attention, make sure to read the entire set to get the whole picture. Although these episodes are released in sets, you can read the entire newsletter from the beginning, as it flows smoothly, like music to your ears - or, in this case, your eyes.
